From a one man show working out of a tin shed in a back alley in Southport, to one of Australia’s fastest growing Builders and home suppliers, Keith Richardson now has a team of more than thirty fantastic staff and at least 300 homes in production at any one time.

Keith is quite literally the man behind the success story. Still to this day Keith runs his company like a family business. His morals and corporate philosophy is simple “Offer a product that is far superior than anyone else’s, make it cheaper than anyone else with ZERO hidden costs and give people better service than they expect.” This approach to business has developed naturally over Keith’s earlier working years where he adopted many different methodologies in customer service, real estate and construction.

As managing director and founder, he shares his vision with his staff and realises that a great team makes a fantastic company.

Marketa Richardson
Office Manager

Marketa is wife to Managing Director Keith and mother to Kodi their new baby boy. Marketa is also office manager at the ASK HOMES head office located on the Gold Coast. Originally from Europe, Marketa brings a certain focus to the company that is productive yet refreshingly relaxed and light hearted.

Marketa is an expert at detail, getting hands on to implement systems and seeing them through into further development to refine the overall company work process on an administration level.

In a business that is all about customer service it’s not surprising that Marketa’s background is primarily in the retail sector, working previously in developing another family business in Europe where she is very much missed.

Brian Neil
Contract Advisor

In a business that is growing so quickly, in an industry that is evolving every day, it is imperative to have a central controller managing productivity to ensure the company can support it's turnover. In construction, the primary facilitator of this is the Purchasing Manager who is responsible for ordering and coordinating the supply of construction materials.

Brian’s experience in this arena is extensive with more than 15 years in similar positions; he has developed his own unique systems that allow ASK HOMES to grow at the necessary rate.

His knowledge of steel construction in particular makes him an invaluable asset to the team. Brian is now faced with the role of making sure this fast moving company has the required foundations to provide for such growth.

Damon Kenrick
Steel Carpenter

After watching his neighbour build a monster 850m2 ASK Home for half the price of what project builders were quoting then helping his parents also build an ASK Home (the new Gypsy design), Damon decided that this was a company that he could see a long and successful future with.

Damon, who is a qualified carpenter, is now in charge of our weekly working bees.  These have been extremely helpful in demonstrating to our clients just how easy it is to build one of our homes as well as assisting the client in having their house built for a fraction of the cost of what a tradesman would charge.

Hayden Smiler
Construction Manager

Hayden who is a qualified builder looks after all of our "Full Builds".  He has years of experience in the building industry with Sunland, Fish, Devine Homes and Hutchinson's builders.

Hayden’s fantastic hard working attitude makes him an absolute pleasure to deal with.

James Tanner
Detail Drafting Manager

James takes our technical drafting to the next level by managing the specific frame requirements from a structural perspective.

James specialises in developing structural drawings for the design of steel floor systems, wall frames, roof trusses and developing solutions to make those fantastic ideas become reality.

Jill
Architect

With experience in a wide range of technical design, Jill takes pride in working with clients to develop outstanding architectural designs. Jill manages our in-house drawing department as well as our outside sub-contractors.

John
Draftsman

Taking our Architects visions to the technical screen, John is passionate about drafting and is constantly updating his knowledge bank to ensure he is at the forefront of the CAD design platform.

He is responsible for drawing final plans of homes ready for customer approval and further submission to council.

Katie Schmidt
Accounts Manager

No matter if you’re making your initial preliminary deposit or paying your final installment on your kit, you’ll probably have the pleasure at some stage of talking with Katie.

Only ever too willing to get you what you need when you need it, Katie makes sure accounts are available to clients at all times. A very important role in residential building, Katie manages the accounts payable and receivable departments.

Lyn Gullifer
Senior Estimator

With a wealth of experience in the sales department at ASK HOMES, Lyn takes her kind persona and can-do attitude to the estimating arena.

Working with almost all of the ASK HOMES team, Lyn works specifically with managing director Keith Richardson in pricing homes for clients. Lyn also collects finishes and colour selections once plans are approved by clients.

Natalie Leach
Council Requirements

Probably the most vital role to land owners is getting those plans through council. Natalie makes sure this happens as quickly as possible for our clients.

From ordering your soil tests and contour surveys to instructing the certifiers correctly, it is her role to ensure your project gets from design to the hands of the purchasing officers.
Natalie is a fantastic asset to the team and is always more than happy to assist you.

Neroli Endacott
Sales Consultant

Located both at our display village and in the Nerang head office, Neroli specialises in taking care of clients and introducing them to the ASK HOMES concept.

From the moment you come in contact with the brand, our sales team are there to help you every step of the way. Neroli’s job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible, helping you make the decision of building your own home. She has a detailed understanding of the overall building process and is always willing to help clients familiarise themselves with it.

Nicky Kenrick
Accounts

Nicky joined the ASK HOMES team because of her experience in accounts, to take care of the general accounts of the company and manage incoming and outgoing payments.

Also married to Damon our construction Manager, it's safe to say that now days they live and breath the building industry.

Rachael Johnston
Administration

Call 1800 153 371 and you’ll get Rachael. Constantly dealing with the never ending flood of enquires we receive here at ASK HOMES, Rachael possesses the very important quality of patience and duty of care.

Her role is to direct clients to the necessary departments and facilitate any administration requirements including but not limited to News Letter distribution, sales pack delivery and personally assisting members of management staff.

Super passionate about her job, you'll often find Rachael visiting the weekend Working B's keeping herself up to date on what's happening on site!

Troy
Steel Carpenter

Troy is our on site steel carpenter who assists owner builders with the day to day building of their house. Troy has a wealth of knowledge in the steel frame industry including: Thermal Cutting, Genetics, Welding and Manufacturing of pre-fab steel frames including structural welding. Troy liaises with owner builders, manufactures & suppliers and in his "spare time" arranges deliveries of kits.

Troy also plans to build his own home in the near future to be located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
